Teaching Activities for Climate Change (TACC)

With the issue of climate change on the minds of everyone these days, the SEEDS Foundation has developed a classroom activity to promote learning and discussion on this current topic. 

Teaching Activities for Climate Change (TACC) complements our Creating a Climate of Change multimedia kit. This activity allows students to examine several energy-saving actions that will reduce their own and their family's energy consumption, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and potentially save money.

TACC includes energy-saving action cards, transparencies, and a teachers' guide. This program fits with secondary science, social studies, geography, and environmental studies. It takes one to three class periods with occasional follow-up on the actions taken.
