WELL (Water Environmental Learning Leadership) Program

The WELL Program provides an opportunity for high school students, with their teachers, to learn how they can apply their leadership skills in taking water-based environmental action in their school and/or community. Leadership students learn about water and related environmental leadership action in this one day workshop and then return to their schools to carry out a water-based environmental project. Alberta course credits are available for this progam through the Career and Teachnology Studies (CTS) Program.

During the fall of 2011, this program is being run as a pilot for five schools in Calgary and surrounding area. Please contact SEEDS to find out more information and discuss options for bringing it to your school.

If you have participated in a workshop, find the post-workshop document which contains project ideas, water information and leadership links. fundraising suggestions, and more here: WELL Post-Workshop Resources.
